7368 grain offering

An offering that was usually offered as an accompaniment to animal sacrifices, but in special circumstances was presented alone. It could be cooked in various ways or presented uncooked. The offering could be made for a variety of purposes, depending on the sacrifice it accompanied.

The Hebrew word for “grain offering” can also mean simply “gift”
