¹⁷ If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them.^(A)

¹⁸ “I’m not speaking about all of you; I know those I have chosen.^(B) But the Scripture^(C) must be fulfilled: ^(D) The one who eats my bread^[a] has raised his heel against me.^{[b](E) 19} I am telling you now before it happens,^(F) so that when it does happen you will believe^(G) that I am he.^(H)
