9 اس لئے پو رے اسرائیل کی خاندانی تاریخ درج کی گئی تھی۔ اوریہ “تاریخ سلا طین اسرائیل ” میں لکھی گئی تھی۔
یروشلم میں لوگ
یہوداہ کے لوگ خدا کی بے وفائی کی وجہ سے بابل جلا وطن کر دیئے گئے تھے۔ 2 سب سے پہلے اسرائیل میں اپنے شہروں میں اپنی جائیداد پر واپس آنے والوں میں کاہن ، لاوی اور ہیکل میں کام کرنے والے خدمت گزار تھے۔
3 یہوداہ ، بنیمین ، افرائیم اور منسی کے لوگ جو کہ یروشلم میں رہے :
4 عوتی عمّیہود کا بیٹا تھا۔ عمّیہود عُمری کا بیٹا تھا۔ عُمری اِمری کا بیٹا تھا۔ اِمری بانی کا بیٹا تھا۔ بانی فارص کی نسل کا تھا۔ فارص یہودا کا بیٹا تھا۔
5 شیلونی لوگوں میں سے : عسایاہ سب سے بڑا بیٹا اور اسکے بیٹے۔
6 زار حتی لوگوں میں سے : یعوایل اور ان کے رشتے دار وہ تمام ۶۹۰ تھے۔
7 بنیمین کے لوگوں میں سے : سلّو مسلوم کا بیٹا۔ مسلوم ہود اویاہ کا بیٹا تھا۔ ہوداویاہ ہسینواہ کا بیٹا تھا۔ 8 ابنیاہ یروحام کا بیٹا تھا۔ ایلہ عُزی کا بیٹا تھا۔ عزی مکری کا بیٹا اور مسلام سفطیاہ کا بیٹا تھا۔ سفطیاہ رعو ایل کا بیٹا تھا۔ رعوایل ابنیاہ کا بیٹا تھا۔ 9 بنیمین کے خاندانی تاریخ کے مطابق ہے کہ ان میں سے ۹۵۶تھے۔ وہ سبھی لوگ اپنے خاندانو ں کے قائدین تھے۔
10 کا ہنوں میں سے : ید عیاہ ، یہویرب، یکین اور 11 عزریاہ۔عزریاہ خلقیاہ کا بیٹا تھا۔ خلقیاہ مسلام کا بیٹا تھا۔ مسلام صدوق کا بیٹا تھا۔ صدوق مرایوت کا بیٹا تھا۔مرایوت اخیطوب کا بیٹا تھا۔ اخیطوب ہیکل کا عہدیدار تھا۔ 12 یروحام کا بیٹا عدایاہ تھا۔یروحام فشحور کا بیٹا تھا۔فشحور ملکیاہ کا بیٹا تھا۔ معسی عدی ایل کا بیٹا تھا ،عدی ایل یحزیرہ کا بیٹا تھا۔یحزیرہ مسلام کا بیٹا تھا۔مسلام مسلمیت کا بیٹا تھا۔ مسلمیت امیر کا بیٹا تھا۔
13 وہاں ۱۷۶۰ کا ہن تھے وہ اپنے خاندانوں کے قائدین تھے ، وہ ہیکل میں خدمت کے کام کرنے کے قابل آدمی تھے۔ 14 لا وی لوگوں میں سے : حسوب کا بیٹا سمعیاہ تھا۔ حسوب عزریقام کا بیٹا تھا۔عزریقام حسیبیاہ کا بیٹا تھا۔ حسیبیاہ مراری کی نسلوں سے تھا۔ 15 بقبقر، حارس، جلال ، متنیاہ جو کہ میکاہ کا بیٹا تھا۔ میکاہ ذکری کا بیٹا تھا ذکری آسف کا بیٹا تھا۔ 16 عوبدیاہ سمعیاہ کا بیٹا تھا۔ سمعیاہ جلال کا بیٹا تھا۔ جلال یدوتون کا بیٹا تھا۔برکیاہ آسا کا بیٹا تھا۔ آسا القانہ کا بیٹا تھا۔ جو کہ نتو فاتی لوگوں کے گاؤں میں رہتے تھے:
17 سلوم ، عقوب ، طلمون ، اخیمان اور ان کے رشتے دار دربان تھے۔ سلوم ان کا قائد تھا۔ 18 وہ اب تک بادشا ہ کے مشرقی پھاٹک پر تعینات تھے۔ وہ لا وی قبیلہ سے دربان تھے۔ 19 سلوم قور کا بیٹا تھا۔ قو ر ابی آسف کا بیٹا تھا۔ابی آسف قورح کا بیٹا تھا۔ اور اس کے رشتہ دار قورحی خاندان سے تھے۔انہیں مقدس خیمہ کے دروازے کی حفاظت کرنے کی ذمّہ داری دی تھی۔ یہ ٹھیک ویسا ہی تھا جیسا کہ ان کے آبا ؤ اجداد خداوند کے مقدس خیمہ کے دروازہ پر پہرے داری کے ذمہ دار تھے۔ 20 ماضی میں الیعزر کا بیٹا فنیحاس ان لوگوں کا نگراں کار تھا۔ خداوند ان کے ساتھ تھا۔ 21 ذکریاہ مشلمہ کا بیٹا خیمہٴ اجتماع کے دروازے کا دربان تھا۔
22 جُملہ دوسو بارہ آدمیوں کو چوکھٹوں پر پہرہ دینے کے لئے چُنا گیا تھا۔ ان کے نام ان کے خاندانی تاریخ میں ان کے گا ؤں میں لکھے گئے تھے۔داؤد اور سموئیل نبی نے ان لوگوں کو چُنا کیوں کہ ان پر بھروسہ کیا جا سکتا تھا۔ 23 وہ لوگ اور ان کی نسلوں کی ذمہ داری تھی کہ خداوند کے گھر مقدس خیمہ کے دروازوں کی پہرے داری کریں۔ 24 دربان مشرق، مغرب ، شمال اور جنوب چاروں جانب تھے۔ 25 دربانوں کے رشتے دار اپنے اپنے گاؤں سے وقتاً فوقتاً ان کے کام میں ان کی مدد کے لئے آتے تھے اور ہر بار سات دن تک ان کی مدد کرتے تھے۔
26 لیکن چار قائد کو جنہیں دربانوں کا نگراں کار رکھا گیا تھا وہ لا وی تھے اور ان کا کام خدا کے گھر کے کمروں اور خزانوں کی دیکھ بھا ل کرنا تھا۔ 27 وہ رات ہیکل کے آس پاس کے علاقے میں بِتا تے تھے کیو نکہ ان کا کام اس کی پہرے داری کرنا تھا اور ہر صبح اسے کھولنے کا کام بھی انہیں لوگوں کا تھا۔
28 ان میں سے کچھ ہیکل کے کام کے لئے جو برتن تھے اس کا نگراں کار تھا۔ وہ اس طشتریوں کو اس وقت گنتے تھے جب وہ اندر لا تے تھے اور اس وقت بھی گنتے جب انہیں باہر کئے جا تے تھے۔ 29 ان میں سے کچھ فرنیچر اور دوسری پاک چیزوں، آٹے ، مئے ، تیل بخور اور مصالحوں کے نگراں کا رتھے۔ 30 لیکن صرف کا ہن ہی مصالحوں کو ملانے کا کام کیا کر تے تھے۔
31 متنیاہ نام کا ایک لا وی جو سلوم قور حی کا پہلو ٹھا بیٹا تھا نذرانہ کے لئے پکائے جانے وا لی روٹی کا نگراں کار تھا۔ 32 کچھ قہاتی مقدس روٹی پکانے کے نگراں کا رتھے جسے کہ سبت کے دن میز پر رکھی جا تی تھی۔
33 یہ سب گلوکار تھے جو کہ لا وی خاندانوں کے قائدین تھے اور ہیکل کے کمروں میں رہتے تھے ، وہ دوسرے کاموں سے مستشنٰی تھے کیو نکہ دن اور رات لگاتار ان کا کام تھا۔
34 یہ سب لا وی خاندانوں کے قائدین تھے۔ یہ اپنے خاندانی تاریخ کے مطابق قائدین تھے۔ اور وہ یروشلم میں رہتے تھے۔
بادشا ساؤل کی خاندانی تاریخ
35 یعی ایل جبعون کا باپ تھا۔ وہ جبعون شہر میں رہتا تھا۔اس کی بیوی کا نام معکہ تھا۔ 36 یعی ایل کا بڑا بیٹا عبدون تھا دوسرے بیٹے ضور،قیس،بعل ، نیر، ناداب ، 37 جدور ،اخیو، ذکریا اور مقلوت تھے۔ 38 مقلوت ، شمعام کا باپ تھا۔ وہ سب اپنے رشتے داروں کے قریب یروشلم میں رہتے تھے۔
39 نیر قیس کا باپ تھا۔ قیس ساؤل کا باپ تھا اور ساؤل یونتن ،ملکیشوع ، ابینداب ، اور اشبعل کا باپ تھا۔
40 یونتن کا بیٹا مریبعل تھا۔ مریبعل میکاہ کا باپ تھا۔
41 میکاہ کے بیٹے : فیتون ، ملک ، تحریح اور آخز تھے۔ 42 آخز یعدہ کا باپ تھا یعدہ یعرہ کا با پ تھا۔ یعرہ علمت ، عزماوت اور زمری کا باپ تھا۔ زمری موضا کا باپ تھا۔ 43 موضا ، بنعہ کا باپ تھا۔ رفایہ بنعہ کا بیٹا تھا۔ الیعسہ رفایہ کا بیٹا تھا۔ اور اصیل الیعسہ کا بیٹا تھا۔
44 اصیل کے چھ بیٹے تھے۔ ان کے نام : عزریقام ، بوکرو،اسماعیل ، سفر یاہ ، عوبدیاہ اور حنان تھے۔ یہ سب اصیل کے بیٹے تھے۔

9 All Israel(A) was listed in the genealogies recorded in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. They were taken captive to Babylon(B) because of their unfaithfulness.(C)
The People in Jerusalem(D)
2 Now the first to resettle on their own property in their own towns(E) were some Israelites, priests, Levites and temple servants.(F)
3 Those from Judah, from Benjamin, and from Ephraim and Manasseh who lived in Jerusalem were:
4 Uthai son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, a descendant of Perez son of Judah.(G)
5 Of the Shelanites[a]:
Asaiah the firstborn and his sons.
6 Of the Zerahites:
Jeuel.
The people from Judah numbered 690.
7 Of the Benjamites:
Sallu son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah;
8 Ibneiah son of Jeroham; Elah son of Uzzi, the son of Mikri; and Meshullam son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah.
9 The people from Benjamin, as listed in their genealogy, numbered 956. All these men were heads of their families.
10 Of the priests:
Jedaiah; Jehoiarib; Jakin;
11 Azariah son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the official in charge of the house of God;
12 Adaiah son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur,(H) the son of Malkijah; and Maasai son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer.
13 The priests, who were heads of families, numbered 1,760. They were able men, responsible for ministering in the house of God.
14 Of the Levites:
Shemaiah son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, a Merarite; 15 Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal and Mattaniah(I) son of Mika, the son of Zikri, the son of Asaph; 16 Obadiah son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berekiah son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.(J)
17 The gatekeepers:(K)
Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman and their fellow Levites, Shallum their chief 18 being stationed at the King’s Gate(L) on the east, up to the present time. These were the gatekeepers belonging to the camp of the Levites. 19 Shallum(M) son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his fellow gatekeepers from his family (the Korahites) were responsible for guarding the thresholds of the tent just as their ancestors had been responsible for guarding the entrance to the dwelling of the Lord. 20 In earlier times Phinehas(N) son of Eleazar was the official in charge of the gatekeepers, and the Lord was with him. 21 Zechariah(O) son of Meshelemiah was the gatekeeper at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
22 Altogether, those chosen to be gatekeepers(P) at the thresholds numbered 212. They were registered by genealogy in their villages. The gatekeepers had been assigned to their positions of trust by David and Samuel the seer.(Q) 23 They and their descendants were in charge of guarding the gates of the house of the Lord—the house called the tent of meeting. 24 The gatekeepers were on the four sides: east, west, north and south. 25 Their fellow Levites in their villages had to come from time to time and share their duties for seven-day(R) periods. 26 But the four principal gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted with the responsibility for the rooms and treasuries(S) in the house of God. 27 They would spend the night stationed around the house of God,(T) because they had to guard it; and they had charge of the key(U) for opening it each morning.
28 Some of them were in charge of the articles used in the temple service; they counted them when they were brought in and when they were taken out. 29 Others were assigned to take care of the furnishings and all the other articles of the sanctuary,(V) as well as the special flour and wine, and the olive oil, incense and spices. 30 But some(W) of the priests took care of mixing the spices. 31 A Levite named Mattithiah, the firstborn son of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with the responsibility for baking the offering bread. 32 Some of the Kohathites, their fellow Levites, were in charge of preparing for every Sabbath the bread set out on the table.(X)
33 Those who were musicians,(Y) heads of Levite families, stayed in the rooms of the temple and were exempt from other duties because they were responsible for the work day and night.(Z)
34 All these were heads of Levite families, chiefs as listed in their genealogy, and they lived in Jerusalem.
The Genealogy of Saul(AA)
35 Jeiel(AB) the father[b] of Gibeon lived in Gibeon.
His wife’s name was Maakah, 36 and his firstborn son was Abdon, followed by Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab, 37 Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah and Mikloth. 38 Mikloth was the father of Shimeam. They too lived near their relatives in Jerusalem.
39 Ner(AC) was the father of Kish,(AD) Kish the father of Saul, and Saul the father of Jonathan,(AE) Malki-Shua, Abinadab and Esh-Baal.[c](AF)
40 The son of Jonathan:
Merib-Baal,[d](AG) who was the father of Micah.
41 The sons of Micah:
Pithon, Melek, Tahrea and Ahaz.[e]
42 Ahaz was the father of Jadah, Jadah[f] was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri, and Zimri was the father of Moza. 43 Moza was the father of Binea; Rephaiah was his son, Eleasah his son and Azel his son.
44 Azel had six sons, and these were their names:
Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.
