26 اے خداوند، میرا انصاف کر، گوا ہی دے کہ میں نے پاک زندگی گذاری ہے۔
میں نے خداوند پر پوری طرح توّکل کرنا نہیں چھو ڑا۔
2 اے خداوند! مجھے آزما
اور میري جانچ کر میرے دل و دماغ کو قریب سے دیکھ۔
3 میں تیری شفقت کو سدا ہی دیکھتا ہوں،
میں تیرے سچ کو مانتا ہوں۔
4 میں اُن بدذات لوگوں میں سے نہیں ہوں۔
5 اُن بُرے لوگوں سے مجھ کو نفرت ہے۔
بدکرداروں کی جماعت سے مجھے نفرت ہے۔
6 اے خداوند، میں نے یہ ظا ہر کر نے کے لئے ہا تھوں کودھویا ہے
کہ میں پاک ہوں، اس طرح میں قربان گاہ پر آسکوں۔
7 اے خداوند! میں تیری توصیف کروں گا،
اور تیرے سب حیرت انگیز کاموں کو بیان کروں گا۔
8 اے خداوند! مجھ کو تیری سکو نت گاہ عزیز ہے۔
میں تیرے پُر جلال خیمہ سے محبت کر تا ہوں۔
9 اے خداوند گنہگا روں میں مجھے شامل نہ کر،
اور اُن قاتلوں کے ساتھ مجھے ہلاک نہ کر۔
10 وہ لوگ بُرے کام کرتے ہیں
اور وہ ہمیشہ رشوت لینے کے لئے تیّار رہتے ہیں۔
11 لیکن میں معصوم ہوں۔
پس اے خدا، مجھ پر مہربان رہ اور میری حفا ظت کر۔
12 میں تما م خطروں سے محفوظ ہوں۔
اے خداوند! میں تیری ستا ئش کروں گا، جب بھی تیرے چاہنے وا لوں کی جماعت ملے گی۔

1 Vindicate me,(A) Lord,
for I have led a blameless life;(B)
I have trusted(C) in the Lord
and have not faltered.(D)
2 Test me,(E) Lord, and try me,
examine my heart and my mind;(F)
3 for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love(G)
and have lived(H) in reliance on your faithfulness.(I)
4 I do not sit(J) with the deceitful,
nor do I associate with hypocrites.(K)
5 I abhor(L) the assembly of evildoers
and refuse to sit with the wicked.
6 I wash my hands in innocence,(M)
and go about your altar, Lord,
7 proclaiming aloud your praise(N)
and telling of all your wonderful deeds.(O)
8 Lord, I love(P) the house where you live,
the place where your glory dwells.(Q)
9 Do not take away my soul along with sinners,
my life with those who are bloodthirsty,(R)
10 in whose hands are wicked schemes,(S)
whose right hands are full of bribes.(T)
11 I lead a blameless life;
deliver me(U) and be merciful to me.

26 Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore I shall not slide.
2 Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
3 For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.
4 I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.
5 I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.
6 I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O Lord:
7 That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.
8 Lord, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.
9 Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:
10 In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.
11 But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.
12 My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the Lord.
