20 The men from the tribes of Manasseh, Reuben, and Gad prayed to God during the war. They asked God to help them because they trusted him, so God helped them. He allowed them to defeat the Hagrites and those who were with the Hagrites.

20 They were helped(A) in fighting them, and God delivered the Hagrites and all their allies into their hands, because they cried(B) out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted(C) in him.
