³The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed the ways of his father David^(A) before him. He did not consult the Baals

2 Chronicles 17:3

King James Version

³And the Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim;

⁵The Lord established the kingdom under his control; and all Judah brought gifts^(A) to Jehoshaphat, so that he had great wealth and honor.^(B)

⁵Therefore the Lord stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honour in abundance.

³⁰And the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was at peace, for his God had given him rest^(A) on every side.

³⁰So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet: for his God gave him rest round about.
