14 We know that God, who raised the Lord Jesus,[a] will also raise us with Jesus and present us to himself together with you. 15 All of this is for your benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.
16 That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are[b] being renewed every day.

14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead(A) will also raise us with Jesus(B) and present us with you to himself.(C) 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving(D) to overflow to the glory of God.
16 Therefore we do not lose heart.(E) Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly(F) we are being renewed(G) day by day.
