14 because we know that the one who raised Jesus[a] will also raise us with Jesus and will present us with you in his presence.(A) 15 Indeed, everything is for your sake, so that grace, when it has extended to more and more people, may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God.
Living by Faith
16 So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day.(B)

14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead(A) will also raise us with Jesus(B) and present us with you to himself.(C) 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving(D) to overflow to the glory of God.
16 Therefore we do not lose heart.(E) Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly(F) we are being renewed(G) day by day.
