4 “In that case,” the king told Ziba, “I give you everything he owns.”
“Thank you, thank you, sir,” Ziba replied.
5 As David and his party passed Bahurim, a man came out of the village cursing them. It was Shimei, the son of Gera, a member of Saul’s family. 6 He threw stones at the king and the king’s officers and all the mighty warriors who surrounded them!

“I humbly bow,” Ziba said. “May I find favor in your eyes, my lord the king.”
Shimei Curses David
5 As King David approached Bahurim,(B) a man from the same clan as Saul’s family came out from there. His name was Shimei(C) son of Gera, and he cursed(D) as he came out. 6 He pelted David and all the king’s officials with stones, though all the troops and the special guard were on David’s right and left.
