31 Judas and his men thanked them and exhorted them to be well disposed to their race in the future also. Finally, since the Feast of Weeks[a] was close at hand, they proceeded to Jerusalem.
32 An Engagement That Ends Badly. After the Feast of Pentecost, they marched against Gorgias, the governor of Idumea, 33 who confronted them with three thousand foot soldiers and four hundred horsemen.
