³⁹For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Acts 2:39

New International Version

³⁹The promise is for you and your children^(A) and for all who are far off^(B)—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

⁴¹And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

⁴¹The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing^(A) because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.^(B)

⁴³To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

⁴³All the prophets testify about him^(A) that everyone^(B) who believes^(C) in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”^(D)
