40 Peter made everyone leave the room.
He knelt and prayed. Then he turned toward the body and said, “Tabitha, get up!”

New International Version
40 Peter sent them all out of the room;(A) then he got down on his knees(B) and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, “Tabitha, get up.”(C) She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up.
