20 Children, be obeying your parents in all things, for this is pleasing in the Lord. 21 Fathers, do not be provoking your children, in order that they may not be discouraged[a].
Work As For The Lord, Not For People
22 Slaves, be obeying your masters according-to[b] the flesh in all things, not with eye-service[c] as people-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord.

21 Fathers,[a] do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.
22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord.
