When Christ shall appear, who is your life, then you also shall appear with him in glory.

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, lust, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is the service of idols.

For which things the wrath of God cometh upon the children of unbelief,

In which you also walked some time, when you lived in them.

But now put you also all away: anger, indignation, malice, blasphemy, filthy speech out of your mouth.

Lie not one to another: stripping yourselves of the old man with his deeds,

10 And putting on the new, him who is renewed unto knowledge, according to the image of him that created him.

11 Where there is neither Gentile nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian nor Scythian, bond nor free. But Christ is all, and in all.

When Christ, who is your[a] life,(A) appears,(B) then you also will appear with him in glory.(C)

Put to death,(D) therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature:(E) sexual immorality,(F) impurity, lust, evil desires and greed,(G) which is idolatry.(H) Because of these, the wrath of God(I) is coming.[b] You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.(J) But now you must also rid yourselves(K) of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander,(L) and filthy language from your lips.(M) Do not lie to each other,(N) since you have taken off your old self(O) with its practices 10 and have put on the new self,(P) which is being renewed(Q) in knowledge in the image of its Creator.(R) 11 Here there is no Gentile or Jew,(S) circumcised or uncircumcised,(T) barbarian, Scythian, slave or free,(U) but Christ is all,(V) and is in all.
