⁵ But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be ^(A)put to death, because he has spoken falsely against the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of ^[a]slavery, ^(B)to drive you from the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. ^(C)So you shall eliminate the evil from among you.

³² therefore this is what the Lord says: “Behold, I am going to ^(A)punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite and his ^[a]descendants; he will ^(B)not have anyone living among this people, ^(C)and he will not see the good that I am going to do for My people,” declares the Lord, “because he has ^(D)spoken falsely against the Lord.”’”
