22 And he hath subjected all things under his feet, and hath made him head over all the church,

23 Which is his body, and the fulness of him who is filled all in all.

And you, when you were dead in your offences, and sins,

Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of this air, of the spirit that now worketh on the children of unbelief:

In which also we all conversed in time past, in the desires of our flesh, fulfilling the will of the flesh and of our thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest:

22 And God placed all things under his feet(A) and appointed him to be head(B) over everything for the church, 23 which is his body,(C) the fullness of him(D) who fills everything in every way.(E)

Made Alive in Christ

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,(F) in which you used to live(G) when you followed the ways of this world(H) and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air,(I) the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.(J) All of us also lived among them at one time,(K) gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a](L) and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.
