13 Now it happened, while I was prophesying, that (A)Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then (B)I fell on my face and cried with a loud voice, and said, “Ah, Lord God! Will You make a complete end of the remnant of Israel?”

New International Version
13 Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah(A) son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out in a loud voice, “Alas, Sovereign Lord! Will you completely destroy the remnant of Israel?(B)”
Amos 7:2-6

2 And so it was, when they had finished eating the grass of the land, that I said:
“O Lord God, forgive, I pray!
(A)Oh,[a] that Jacob may stand,
For he is small!”
3 So (B)the Lord relented concerning this.
“It shall not be,” said the Lord.
Vision of the Fire
4 Thus the Lord God showed me: Behold, the Lord God called [b]for conflict by fire, and it consumed the great deep and devoured the [c]territory. 5 Then I said:
“O Lord God, cease, I pray!
(C)Oh, that Jacob may stand,
For he is small!”
6 So the Lord relented concerning this.
“This also shall not be,” said the Lord God.

2 When they had stripped the land clean,(A) I cried out, “Sovereign Lord, forgive! How can Jacob survive?(B) He is so small!(C)”

“This will not happen,” the Lord said.(E)
4 This is what the Sovereign Lord showed me: The Sovereign Lord was calling for judgment by fire;(F) it dried up the great deep and devoured(G) the land. 5 Then I cried out, “Sovereign Lord, I beg you, stop! How can Jacob survive? He is so small!(H)”
6 So the Lord relented.(I)
“This will not happen either,” the Sovereign Lord said.(J)
