²¹ “But if the ^(A)wicked man turns from all his sins which he has done and keeps all My statutes and does justice and righteousness, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

²⁷ Again, when a wicked man turns away ^(A)from his wickedness which he has done and does justice and righteousness, he will preserve his life.

³⁰ “Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each according to his way,” declares Lord Yahweh. “^[a](A)Turn back and turn away from all your transgressions, so that iniquity may not become a stumbling block to you. ^31 (B)Cast away from yourselves all your transgressions which you have committed and ^[b]make yourselves a ^(C)new heart and a new spirit! Now why will you die, O house of Israel? ³² For I have ^(D)no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares Lord Yahweh. “Therefore, ^[c]turn back and live.”

¹⁴ But when I say to the wicked, ‘You will surely die,’ and he ^(A)turns from his sin and does ^(B)justice and righteousness, ¹⁵ if a wicked man restores a pledge, ^(C)pays back what he has taken by robbery, walks by the ^(D)statutes of life without committing iniquity, he shall surely live; he shall not die. ^16 (E)None of his sins that he has done will be remembered against him. He has done justice and righteousness; he shall surely live.
