Ezekiel 3:25-27

25 and you, son of man,[a] look, they will place[b] cords on you, and they will tie you up with them. Then you will not go out into the midst of them. 26 And I will make your tongue cling to the roof of your mouth, and you will be silenced, and you will not be a reproving man for them, for they are a rebellious house.[c] 27 And when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you must say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “The one hearing him, let him hear, and the one failing to hear, let him fail,”’ for they are a rebellious house.[d]

25 And you, son of man, they will tie with ropes; you will be bound so that you cannot go out among the people.(A) 26 I will make your tongue stick to the roof(B) of your mouth so that you will be silent and unable to rebuke them, for they are a rebellious people.(C) 27 But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you shall say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’(D) Whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse; for they are a rebellious people.(E)
