New International Version

⁴He then said to me: “Son of man, go now to the people of Israel and speak my words to them.^(A)

¹⁷Mortal, I have made you a sentinel for the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me.^(A)

¹⁷“Son of man, I have made you a watchman^(A) for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.^(B)
