10 ¶ For do I now persuade men or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the slave of Christ.
11 But I make known unto you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not according to man.
12 For I did not receive it nor learn it from man, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people?(A) If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
