²⁶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

⁸ And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, ⁹ And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;

¹⁴ Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: behold, ^[a]a ^[b]virgin ^[c]shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name ^[d]Immanuel.
