Genesis 14:13-15

13 Then [a]a fugitive came and told Abram the (A)Hebrew. Now he was [b]living by the [c](B)oaks of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol and brother of Aner, and these were [d](C)allies with Abram. 14 When Abram heard that (D)his [e]relative had been taken captive, he [f]led out his trained men, (E)born in his house, three hundred and eighteen, and went in pursuit as far as (F)Dan. 15 (G)He divided [g]his forces against them by night, he and his servants, and [h]defeated them, and pursued them as far as Hobah, which is [i]north of (H)Damascus.

Genesis 14:13-15
New International Version
13 A man who had escaped came and reported this to Abram the Hebrew.(A) Now Abram was living near the great trees of Mamre(B) the Amorite, a brother[a] of Eshkol(C) and Aner, all of whom were allied with Abram. 14 When Abram heard that his relative(D) had been taken captive, he called out the 318 trained(E) men born in his household(F) and went in pursuit as far as Dan.(G) 15 During the night Abram divided his men(H) to attack them and he routed them, pursuing them as far as Hobah, north of Damascus.(I)
