⁷ then they turned back and came to En-mishpat, that is, Kadesh, and subdued all the country of the Amalekites and also the Amorites who lived in Hazazon-tamar.^(A)

⁶ “For the western boundary, you shall have the Great Sea and its^[a] coast; this shall be your western boundary.

⁴ I have allotted to you as an inheritance for your tribes those nations that remain, along with all the nations that I have already cut off, from the Jordan to the Great Sea in the west.

² Messengers^[a] came and told Jehoshaphat, “A great multitude is coming against you from Edom,^[b] from beyond the sea; already they are at Hazazon-tamar” (that is, En-gedi).^(A)

I have spoken, says the Lord God.
