⁷ I will keep My covenant between Me and you, and your future offspring throughout their generations, as an everlasting covenant^(A) to be your God and the God of your offspring after you.^{(B) 8} And to you and your future offspring^(C) I will give the land where you are residing—all the land of Canaan—as an eternal possession,^(D) and I will be their God.”

¹⁷ Today you have affirmed that the Lord is your God and that you will walk in His ways, keep His statutes, commands, and ordinances, and obey Him. ¹⁸ And today the Lord has affirmed that you are His special people as He promised you, that you are to keep all His commands,
