Christ’s Death Perfects the Sanctified

¹¹ And every priest stands ^(A)ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. ^12 (B)But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down ^(C)at the right hand of God, ¹³ from that time waiting ^(D)till His enemies are made His footstool. ¹⁴ For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being ^[a]sanctified.

⁸ though He was a Son, yet He learned ^(A)obedience by the things which He suffered. ⁹ And ^(B)having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, ¹⁰ called by God as High Priest ^(C)“according to the order of Melchizedek,”
