Hebrews 5:12-14
1599 Geneva Bible
12 [a]For when as concerning the time ye ought to be teachers, yet have ye need again that we teach you what are the first principles of the word of God: and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For everyone that useth milk, is inexpert in the [b]word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of age, which through long custom have their [c]wits exercised, to discern both good and evil.

New International Version
12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths(A) of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!(B) 13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant,(C) is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14 But solid food is for the mature,(D) who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.(E)
