Hebrews 9:7-9
New Testament for Everyone
7 But only the high priest goes into the second Tabernacle, once every year, and he always takes blood, which he offers for himself and for the unintentional sins of the people. 8 The holy spirit indicates by this that, as long as the original Tabernacle is still standing, the way is not yet open into the sanctuary.
9 This is a picture, so to speak, of the present age. During this period, gifts and sacrifices are offered which have no power to perfect the conscience of those who come to worship.

Hebrews 9:7-9
New International Version
7 But only the high priest entered(A) the inner room,(B) and that only once a year,(C) and never without blood,(D) which he offered for himself(E) and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.(F) 8 The Holy Spirit was showing(G) by this that the way(H) into the Most Holy Place had not yet been disclosed as long as the first tabernacle was still functioning. 9 This is an illustration(I) for the present time, indicating that the gifts and sacrifices being offered(J) were not able to clear the conscience(K) of the worshiper.
