1 Corinthians 2:14-3:9

^14 (A)But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. ¹⁵ But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. ¹⁶ For ^(B)“who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” ^(C)But we have the mind of Christ.

Sectarianism Is Carnal

3 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to ^(D)babes in Christ. ² I fed you with ^(E)milk and not with solid food; ^(F)for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; ³ for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and ^[a]behaving like mere men? ⁴ For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not carnal?

Watering, Working, Warning

⁵ Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ^(G)ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? ^6 (H)I planted, ^(I)Apollos watered, ^(J)but God gave the increase. ⁷ So then ^(K)neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. ⁸ Now he who plants and he who waters are one, ^(L)and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

⁹ For ^(M)we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are ^(N)God’s building.
