Isaiah 30:7

⁷Egypt's ^(A)help is worthless and empty;
therefore I have called her
^(B)“Rahab who sits still.”

Isaiah 30:7

New International Version

⁷ to Egypt, whose help is utterly useless.^(A)
Therefore I call her
Rahab^(B) the Do-Nothing.

⁷For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.

⁵^(A)Then they shall be dismayed and ashamed because of Cush their hope and of Egypt their boast.

⁵Those who trusted^(A) in Cush^(B) and boasted in Egypt^(C) will be dismayed and put to shame.^(D)

⁵And they shall be afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.
