The Branch of Yahweh Glorified

² In that day the ^(A)Branch of Yahweh will be beautiful and glorious, and the ^(B)fruit of the earth will be the pride and the ^[a]honor of ^(C)those of Israel who escape.

The Judgments of the Branch

⁹ But they shall be a slave to Yahweh their God and ^(A)David their king, whom I will raise up for them.

¹⁵ In those days and at that time I will cause a ^(A)righteous Branch of David to branch forth; and He shall do ^(B)justice and righteousness on the earth. ¹⁶ In those days ^(C)Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell in security; and this is the name by which she will be called: ^(D)Yahweh is our righteousness.’

⁸ Now listen, Joshua the high priest, you and your friends who are sitting in front of you—indeed they are men who are a ^(A)wondrous sign, for behold, I am going to bring in My servant the ^[a](B)Branch.

¹² Then you will say to him, ‘Thus says Yahweh of hosts, “Behold, a man whose name is ^[a](A)Branch, and He will ^[b](B)branch out from where He is; and He will ^(C)build the temple of Yahweh. ¹³ Indeed, it is He who will build the temple of Yahweh, and He who will ^(D)bear the splendor and sit and ^(E)rule on His throne. Thus, He will be a ^(F)priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace will be between the two ^[c]offices.”’
