Isaiah 43:17-19
International Children’s Bible
17 He is the one who defeated the chariots and horses.
He defeated the mighty armies.
They fell together, and they will never rise again.
They were destroyed as a flame is put out.
18 The Lord says, “Forget what happened before.
Do not think about the past.
19 Look at the new thing I am going to do.
It is already happening. Don’t you see it?
I will make a road in the desert.
I will make rivers in the dry land.

17 who drew out(A) the chariots and horses,(B)
the army and reinforcements together,(C)
and they lay(D) there, never to rise again,
extinguished, snuffed out like a wick:(E)
18 “Forget the former things;(F)
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!(G)
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness(H)
and streams in the wasteland.(I)
