I did not hide my face

⁶I offered my back to those who beat^(A) me,

³⁹But I say to you: Do not resist an evildoer. But if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other also,^(A)

³⁹But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.^(A)
