Jeremiah 42:18
New English Translation
18 For[a] the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel,[b] says, ‘If you go to Egypt, I will pour out my wrath on you just as I poured out my anger and wrath on the citizens of Jerusalem. You will become an object of horror and ridicule, an example of those who have been cursed and that people use in pronouncing a curse.[c] You will never see this place again.’[d]

New International Version
18 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: ‘As my anger and wrath(A) have been poured out on those who lived in Jerusalem,(B) so will my wrath be poured out on you when you go to Egypt. You will be a curse[a](C) and an object of horror,(D) a curse[b] and an object of reproach;(E) you will never see this place again.’(F)
