10 See, (A)I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms,
(B)To uproot and to tear down,
To cause to perish and to pull down,
(C)To build and to plant.”

11 Now the word of Yahweh came to me saying, “What do you see, (D)Jeremiah?” And I said, “I see a rod of an [a]almond tree.” 12 Then Yahweh said to me, “You have seen well, for (E)I am [b]watching over My word to do it.”

“I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied.
12 The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching[a](E) to see that my word is fulfilled.”
