12 Although they fast, I do not hear their cry, and although they offer burnt-offering and grain-offering, I do not accept them; but by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence I consume them.
Denunciation of Lying Prophets
13 Then I said: ‘Ah, Lord God! Here are the prophets saying to them, “You shall not see the sword, nor shall you have famine, but I will give you true peace in this place.”’ 14 And the Lord said to me: The prophets are prophesying lies in my name; I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.

12 Although they fast, I will not listen to their cry;(A) though they offer burnt offerings(B) and grain offerings,(C) I will not accept(D) them. Instead, I will destroy them with the sword,(E) famine(F) and plague.”(G)
13 But I said, “Alas, Sovereign Lord! The prophets(H) keep telling them, ‘You will not see the sword or suffer famine.(I) Indeed, I will give you lasting peace(J) in this place.’”
14 Then the Lord said to me, “The prophets are prophesying lies(K) in my name. I have not sent(L) them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions,(M) divinations,(N) idolatries[a] and the delusions of their own minds.
