¹⁶ Indeed, this will turn out for my deliverance,^(A)
    for no godless^(B) person would dare come before him!^(C)

⁷ There the upright^(A) can establish their innocence before him,^(B)
    and there I would be delivered forever from my judge.^(C)

³³ if I have concealed^(A) my sin as people do,^[a]
    by hiding^(B) my guilt in my heart

²² There is no deep shadow,^(A) no utter darkness,^(B)
    where evildoers can hide.^(C)

²³ God has no need to examine people further,^(A)
    that they should come before him for judgment.^(B)
