²⁷ Do not ^(A)work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to ^(B)eternal life, which ^(C)the Son of Man will give to you, for on Him the Father, God, ^(D)set His seal.”

¹¹ and he ^(A)received the sign of circumcision, ^(B)a seal of the righteousness of the faith which ^[a]he had while uncircumcised, so that he might be ^(C)the father of ^(D)all who believe without being circumcised, that righteousness might be counted to them,

²⁸ Therefore, when I have completed this and ^(A)have ^[a]put my seal on this fruit of theirs, I will ^(B)go on by way of you to Spain.

² If to others I am not an apostle, at least I am to you, for you are the ^(A)seal of my ^(B)apostleship in the Lord.

²² who also ^(A)sealed us and ^(B)gave the ^[a]pledge of the Spirit in our hearts.

¹³ In ^[a]Him, you also, after listening to ^(A)the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also ^[b]believed, you were ^(B)sealed in ^[c]Him with ^(C)the Holy Spirit of promise,

^30 (A)And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, ^[a]by whom you were ^(B)sealed for the day of redemption.

¹⁹ Nevertheless, the ^(A)firm foundation of God stands, having this ^(B)seal, “^(C)The ^[a]Lord knows those who are His,” and, “^(D)Everyone who names the name of the ^[b]Lord is to ^(E)depart from wickedness.”

³ saying, “^(A)Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we have ^(B)sealed the slaves of our God on their ^(C)foreheads.”

⁴ And I heard the ^(D)number of those having been sealed, ^(E)144,000 sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:
