17 It is written in your law that the evidence of two people is true. 18 I’m giving evidence about myself, and the father who sent me is giving evidence about me.”
19 “Where is your father?” they said to him.
“You don’t know me,” replied Jesus, “and you don’t know my father! If you had known me, you would have known my father as well.”

17 In your own Law it is written that the testimony of two witnesses is true.(A) 18 I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me.”(B)
19 Then they asked him, “Where is your father?”
“You do not know me or my Father,”(C) Jesus replied. “If you knew me, you would know my Father also.”(D)
