Disciples’ Literal New Testament

35 Now the slave does not remain in the house forever. The son remains forever. 36 Therefore if the Son sets you free, you will really[a] be free. 37 I know that you are the seed of Abraham. But you are seeking to kill Me, because My word is not advancing[b] in you.

35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever.(A) 36 So if the Son sets you free,(B) you will be free indeed. 37 I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are looking for a way to kill me,(C) because you have no room for my word.
