Judges 1:34-35

34 (A)The Amorites pressed the people of Dan back into the hill country, for they did not allow them to come down to the plain. 35 The Amorites persisted in dwelling in Mount Heres, (B)in Aijalon, and in Shaalbim, but the hand of the house of Joseph rested heavily on them, and they became subject to forced labor.

34 The Amorites(A) confined the Danites(B) to the hill country, not allowing them to come down into the plain.(C) 35 And the Amorites were determined also to hold out in Mount Heres,(D) Aijalon(E) and Shaalbim,(F) but when the power of the tribes of Joseph increased, they too were pressed into forced labor.
