Judges 15:3-5

3 And Samson said to them, “This time I shall be blameless in regard to the Philistines, when I do them mischief.” 4 So Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took torches; and he turned them tail to tail, and put a torch between each pair of tails. 5 And when he had set fire to the torches, he let the foxes go into the standing grain of the Philistines, and burned up the shocks and the standing grain, as well as the olive orchards.

New International Version
3 Samson said to them, “This time I have a right to get even with the Philistines; I will really harm them.” 4 So he went out and caught three hundred foxes(A) and tied them tail to tail in pairs. He then fastened a torch(B) to every pair of tails, 5 lit the torches(C) and let the foxes loose in the standing grain of the Philistines. He burned up the shocks(D) and standing grain, together with the vineyards and olive groves.
