30 The Danites set up the idol to be worshiped, and Jonathan, the son of Gershom and grandson of Moses, served as a priest for the Danites, and his descendants served as their priests until the people were taken away into exile. 31 Micah's idol remained there as long as the Tent where God was worshiped remained at Shiloh.

30 There the Danites set up for themselves the idol, and Jonathan son of Gershom,(A) the son of Moses,[a] and his sons were priests for the tribe of Dan until the time of the captivity of the land. 31 They continued to use the idol Micah had made,(B) all the time the house of God(C) was in Shiloh.(D)
