Judges 2:3-5
GOD’S WORD Translation
3 So I have this to say, ‘I will not force them out of your way. They will be like thorns in your sides, and their gods will become a trap for you.’ ”
4 While the Messenger of the Lord was saying this to all the people of Israel, they began to cry loudly. 5 So they called that place Bochim [Those Who Cry]. They offered sacrifices there to the Lord.

New International Version
3 And I have also said, ‘I will not drive them out before you;(A) they will become traps(B) for you, and their gods will become snares(C) to you.’”
4 When the angel of the Lord had spoken these things to all the Israelites, the people wept aloud,(D) 5 and they called that place Bokim.[a](E) There they offered sacrifices to the Lord.
