Leviticus 19:3-5

³Each person must respect his mother and his father. All the people must keep the Sabbath as a day of rest. I am the Lord your God.

⁴You must not worship idols. You must not use metal to make gods for yourselves. I am the Lord your God.

⁵When a person sacrifices a friendship offering to the Lord, he must obey the rules. If he does, the Lord will accept the gift.

Leviticus 19:3-5

³“‘Each of you must respect your mother and father,^(A) and you must observe my Sabbaths.^(B) I am the Lord your God.^(C)

⁴“‘Do not turn to idols or make metal gods for yourselves.^(D) I am the Lord your God.^(E)

⁵“‘When you sacrifice a fellowship offering to the Lord, sacrifice it in such a way that it will be accepted on your behalf.
