⁵^(A)‘They shall not make any bald place on their heads, nor shall they shave the edges of their beards nor make any cuttings in their flesh.

⁵“‘Priests must not shave^(A) their heads or shave off the edges of their beards^(B) or cut their bodies.^(C)

³⁷“For ^(A)every head shall be bald, and every beard clipped;
On all the hands shall be cuts, and ^(B)on the loins sackcloth—

³⁷Every head is shaved^(A)
and every beard^(B) cut off;
every hand is slashed
and every waist is covered with sackcloth.^(C)
