¹⁴ “‘But if you will not listen to me and carry out all these commands,^{(A) 15} and if you reject my decrees and abhor my laws^(B) and fail to carry out all my commands and so violate my covenant,^(C)

Curses for Disobedience

¹⁵ However, if you do not obey^(A) the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today,^(B) all these curses will come on you and overtake you:^(C)

²⁰ If you forsake the Lord^(A) and serve foreign gods, he will turn^(B) and bring disaster^(C) on you and make an end of you,^(D) after he has been good to you.”
