18 Zoti i foli akoma Moisiut, duke i thënë:
2 "Folu bijve të Izraelit dhe u thuaj atyre: Unë jam Zoti, Perëndia juaj.
3 Nuk do të bëni siç bëjnë në vendin e Egjiptit, ku keni banuar, dhe nuk do të bëni siç bëjnë në vendin e Kanaanit ku po ju çoj; ju nuk do të ndiqni zakonet e tyre.
4 Do të zbatoni dekretet e mia dhe do të respektoni statutet e mia, duke iu përmbajtur atyre. Unë jam Zoti, Perëndia juaj.
5 Do të respektoni statutet dhe dekretet e mia, me anën e të cilave, kushdo që i zbaton në praktikë, ka për të jetuar. Unë jam Zoti.
6 Asnjë nga ju nuk do t’i afrohet ndonjë të afërmi nga gjaku për të zbuluar lakuriqësinë e tij. Unë jam Zoti.
7 Nuk do të zbulosh lakuriqësinë e atit tënd apo lakuriqësinë e nënës sate; ajo është nëna jote; nuk do të zbulosh lakuriqësinë e saj.
8 Nuk do të zbulosh lakuriqësinë e gruas së atit tënd; ajo është lakuriqësia e atit tënd.
9 Nuk do të zbulosh lakuriqësinë e motrës sate, bijë e atit tënd ose bijë e nënës sate, qoftë e lindur në shtëpi ose jashtë saj.
10 Nuk do të zbulosh lakuriqësinë e bijës së birit tënd apo të bijës së bijës sate, sepse lakuriqësia e tyre është vetë lakuriqësia jote.
11 Nuk do të zbulosh lakuriqësinë e bijës së gruas të atit tënd, e lindur nga ati yt; është motra jote; mos zbulo lakuriqësinë e saj.
12 Nuk do të zbulosh lakuriqësinë e motrës së atit tënd; është një e afërme e ngushtë e atit tënd.
13 Nuk do të zbulosh lakuriqësinë e motrës së nënës sate, sepse është një e afërme e ngushtë e nënës sate.
14 Nuk do të zbulosh lakuriqësinë e vëllait të atit tënd; nuk do t’i afrohesh gruas së tij; ajo është halla jote.
15 Nuk do të zbulosh lakuriqësinë e nuses së birit tënd; ajo është gruaja e djalit tënd; mos zbulo lakuriqësinë e saj.
16 Nuk do të zbulosh lakuriqësinë e gruas së vëllait tënd; është lakuriqësia e vëllait tënd.
17 Nuk do të zbulosh lakuriqësinë e një gruaje dhe të bijës së saj; nuk do të marrësh bijën e birit të saj, as bijën e bijës së saj për të zbuluar lakuriqësinë; janë të afërm të ngushtë të saj; është një incest.
18 Nuk do të marrësh një grua bashkë me të motrën për ta bërë shemër, duke zbuluar lakuriqësinë e saj ndërsa tjetra është akoma gjallë.
19 Nuk do t’i afrohesh një gruaje për të zbuluar lakuriqësinë e saj në periudhën e papastërtisë së saj të shkaktuar nga zakonet.
20 Nuk do të kesh marrëdhënie seksuale me gruan e fqinjit tënd për t’u ndotur me të.
21 Nuk do të lejosh që asnjë prej trashëgimtarëve të tu t’i ofrohet Molekut; dhe nuk do të përdhosësh emrin e Perëndisë tënd. Unë jam Zoti.
22 Nuk do të kesh marrëdhënie seksuale me një burrë, ashtu si bëhet me një grua; është një gjë e neveritshme.
23 Nuk do të bashkohesh me asnjë kafshë duke u ndotur me të; gjithashtu asnjë grua të mos i afrohet një kafshe për t’u bashkuar me të; është një degjenerim i neveritshëm.
24 Mos u ndotni me asnjë nga këto gjëra, sepse me gjithë këto gjëra janë ndotur kombet që po bëhem gati t’i përzë përpara jush.
25 Vendi është ndotur; prandaj unë do ta dënoj për paudhësinë e tij, dhe vendi do të vjellë banorët e tij.
26 Ju, pra, do të respektoni statutet dhe dekretet e mia dhe nuk do të kryeni asnjë nga ato gjëra të neveritshme, as ai që ka lindur në vend ashtu edhe i huaji që banon midis jush,
27 (sepse të gjithë këto gjëra të neveritshme i kanë bërë banorët e vendit që ishin para jush, dhe vendi është ndotur),
28 që edhe ju, po të jetë se e ndotni, vendi të mos ju vjellë ashtu si ka vjellë kombin që ishte para jush.
29 Sepse cilido që kryen ndonjë prej këtyre gjërave të neveritshme, personat që i kryejnë do të shfarosen në mes të tyre.
30 Do të respektoni, pra, urdhërimet e mia, nuk do të ndiqni asnjë nga zakonet e neveritshme që janë para jush dhe nuk do të ndoteni me to. Unë jam Zoti, Perëndia juaj".

Unlawful Sexual Relations
18 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘I am the Lord your God.(A) 3 You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Do not follow their practices.(B) 4 You must obey my laws(C) and be careful to follow my decrees.(D) I am the Lord your God.(E) 5 Keep my decrees and laws,(F) for the person who obeys them will live by them.(G) I am the Lord.
6 “‘No one is to approach any close relative to have sexual relations. I am the Lord.
7 “‘Do not dishonor your father(H) by having sexual relations with your mother.(I) She is your mother; do not have relations with her.
8 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your father’s wife;(J) that would dishonor your father.(K)
9 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your sister,(L) either your father’s daughter or your mother’s daughter, whether she was born in the same home or elsewhere.(M)
10 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter; that would dishonor you.
11 “‘Do not have sexual relations with the daughter of your father’s wife, born to your father; she is your sister.
12 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your father’s sister;(N) she is your father’s close relative.
13 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your mother’s sister,(O) because she is your mother’s close relative.
14 “‘Do not dishonor your father’s brother by approaching his wife to have sexual relations; she is your aunt.(P)
15 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law.(Q) She is your son’s wife; do not have relations with her.(R)
16 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your brother’s wife;(S) that would dishonor your brother.
17 “‘Do not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter.(T) Do not have sexual relations with either her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter; they are her close relatives. That is wickedness.
18 “‘Do not take your wife’s sister(U) as a rival wife and have sexual relations with her while your wife is living.
19 “‘Do not approach a woman to have sexual relations during the uncleanness(V) of her monthly period.(W)
20 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor’s wife(X) and defile yourself with her.
21 “‘Do not give any of your children(Y) to be sacrificed to Molek,(Z) for you must not profane the name of your God.(AA) I am the Lord.(AB)
22 “‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman;(AC) that is detestable.(AD)
23 “‘Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.(AE)
24 “‘Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you(AF) became defiled.(AG) 25 Even the land was defiled;(AH) so I punished it for its sin,(AI) and the land vomited out its inhabitants.(AJ) 26 But you must keep my decrees and my laws.(AK) The native-born and the foreigners residing among you must not do any of these detestable things, 27 for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled. 28 And if you defile the land,(AL) it will vomit you out(AM) as it vomited out the nations that were before you.
29 “‘Everyone who does any of these detestable things—such persons must be cut off from their people. 30 Keep my requirements(AN) and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the Lord your God.(AO)’”

18 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the Lord your God.
3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
4 Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the Lord your God.
5 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the Lord.
6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the Lord.
7 The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
8 The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.
9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.
10 The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.
11 The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
12 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she is thy father's near kinswoman.
13 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister: for she is thy mother's near kinswoman.
14 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.
15 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
16 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness.
17 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.
18 Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.
19 Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.
20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.
21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord.
22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
28 That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.
29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
30 Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the Lord your God.
