Nádej pre kazdého
Pozdravy
16 Odporúčam vám našu sestru Fébu, obetavú služobníčku zboru v Kenchreách.
2 Ochotne pomáhala mne aj iným. Ak sa na vás obráti, pomôžte jej vo všetkom, čo bude potrebovať, ako sa na kresťanov patrí.
3 Pozdravte Prisku a Akvilu, mojich spolupracovníkov,
4 ktorí boli pre mňa ochotní obetovať aj svoj život. Vďačím im nielen ja, ale aj všetky zbory z bývalých pohanov.
5 Aj všetkých veriacich, ktorí sa schádzajú v ich dome, srdečne pozdravujem. Pozdravte aj môjho milovaného Epaineta, ktorý prvý v Ázii uveril v Krista.
6 Pozdravte Máriu, čo pre vás toľko vykonala.
7 Srdečne pozdravujem aj Andronika a Júnia, pôvodom Židov, ako som ja, a kedysi spoluväzňov, apoštolov, ktorí sa tešia veľkej vážnosti a uverili v Krista skôr ako ja.
8 Ďalej pozdravte Ampliáta, ktorého milujem v Pánovi,
9 ale aj Urbana, môjho spolupracovníka v diele Kristovom, a Stachysa, mne veľmi drahého.
10 Pozdravujte Apella, ktorý sa osvedčil v Kristu. Takisto všetkých z Aristobulovho domu.
11 A nezabudnite pozdraviť môjho krajana Herodiona. Pozdravte aj tých z domu Narcisa, čo sa odovzdali Pánu.
12 Takisto pozdravte Tryfinu a Tryfózu, ktoré mnoho pracovali pre Pána. Pozdravte mne veľmi drahú Persidu, ktorá horlivo pracovala v diele Pánovom.
13 Pozdravujte Rúfa, vyvoleného v Pánu, a jeho matku, ktorá i mne bola matkou.
14 Ďalej pozdravujem Asynkrita, Flegóna, Hermesa, Patroba, Hermasa a ostatných tamojších bratov,
15 Filológa a Júliu, Nerea a jeho sestru, Olympa i všetkých kresťanov u nich.
16 Pozdravte sa navzájom svätým bozkom. Pozdravujú vás aj všetky kresťanské zbory.
Varovanie pred tými, ktorí robia roztržky
17 Ešte jedno vám chcem položiť na srdce: dajte si pozor na tých, ktorí vyvolávajú roztržky a chceli by vás odviesť od učenia, ktoré ste prijali. Vyhýbajte sa im!
18 Takí kážu nie preto, aby slúžili Kristu, ale aby sami vynikli. Krásnymi a zbožnými rečami sa usilujú zmiasť srdcia prostých ľudí.
19 O vašej oddanosti evanjeliu všade počujem len to najlepšie a teším sa z toho. Želám vám múdrosť v konaní dobra a zlo nech sa vás ani nedotkne.
20 Boh, darca pokoja, už čoskoro rozdrví satana pri vašich nohách. Náš Pán Ježiš Kristus nech vás obdarí svojou milosťou.
21 Pozdravuje vás aj môj spolupracovník Timotej a moji krajania Lucius, Jason a Sozipater.
22 I ja, Tercius, ktorý píšem tento list, pripájam svoj pozdrav.
23 I Gájus, ktorý otvoril svoj dom mne i celému zboru, vás úprimne pozdravuje, a takisto Erastus, správca mestskej pokladnice, a brat Kvartus.
24 Milosť nášho Pána Ježiša Krista nech je s vami všetkými.
Chválorečenie Bohu
25 Sláva tomu, ktorý má moc upevniť vás vo viere podľa slov, ktoré som vám zvestoval o Ježišovi Kristovi. Bolo vám zjavené tajomstvo, ktoré od dávnych čias bolo pred ľuďmi skryté.
26 Už proroci o ňom hovorili a na príkaz večného Boha majú teraz ľudia zo všetkých národov počuť evanjelium, uveriť mu, prijať ho poslušne vierou a podľa neho žiť.
27 Tohto jediného pravého Boha chceme celú večnosť zvelebovať a oslavovať v mene nášho Pána Ježiša Krista. Amen!

16 I commend(A) to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon[a][b] of the church in Cenchreae.(B) 2 I ask you to receive her in the Lord(C) in a way worthy of his people(D) and to give her any help she may need from you, for she has been the benefactor of many people, including me.
3 Greet Priscilla[c] and Aquila,(E) my co-workers(F) in Christ Jesus.(G) 4 They risked their lives for me. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them.
5 Greet also the church that meets at their house.(H)
Greet my dear friend Epenetus, who was the first convert(I) to Christ in the province of Asia.(J)
6 Greet Mary, who worked very hard for you.
7 Greet Andronicus and Junia, my fellow Jews(K) who have been in prison with me.(L) They are outstanding among[d] the apostles, and they were in Christ(M) before I was.
8 Greet Ampliatus, my dear friend in the Lord.
9 Greet Urbanus, our co-worker in Christ,(N) and my dear friend Stachys.
10 Greet Apelles, whose fidelity to Christ has stood the test.(O)
Greet those who belong to the household(P) of Aristobulus.
11 Greet Herodion, my fellow Jew.(Q)
Greet those in the household(R) of Narcissus who are in the Lord.
12 Greet Tryphena and Tryphosa, those women who work hard in the Lord.
Greet my dear friend Persis, another woman who has worked very hard in the Lord.
13 Greet Rufus,(S) chosen(T) in the Lord, and his mother, who has been a mother to me, too.
14 Greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas and the other brothers and sisters with them.
15 Greet Philologus, Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas and all the Lord’s people(U) who are with them.(V)
16 Greet one another with a holy kiss.(W)
All the churches of Christ send greetings.
17 I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned.(X) Keep away from them.(Y) 18 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ,(Z) but their own appetites.(AA) By smooth talk and flattery they deceive(AB) the minds of naive people. 19 Everyone has heard(AC) about your obedience, so I rejoice because of you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.(AD)
20 The God of peace(AE) will soon crush(AF) Satan(AG) under your feet.
The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.(AH)
21 Timothy,(AI) my co-worker, sends his greetings to you, as do Lucius,(AJ) Jason(AK) and Sosipater, my fellow Jews.(AL)
22 I, Tertius, who wrote down this letter, greet you in the Lord.
23 Gaius,(AM) whose hospitality I and the whole church here enjoy, sends you his greetings.

25 Now to him who is able(AO) to establish you in accordance with my gospel,(AP) the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery(AQ) hidden for long ages past, 26 but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings(AR) by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from[f] faith(AS)— 27 to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ!
