Amplified Bible
7 and screaming with a loud voice, he said, “[a]What business do we have in common with each other, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore you by God [swear to me], do not torment me!”(A) 8 For Jesus had been saying to him, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!” 9 He was asking him, “What is your name?” And he replied, “My name is Legion; for we are many.”

New International Version
7 He shouted at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me,(A) Jesus, Son of the Most High God?(B) In God’s name don’t torture me!” 8 For Jesus had said to him, “Come out of this man, you impure spirit!”
9 Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?”
“My name is Legion,”(C) he replied, “for we are many.”
